Project management · PRINCE2
Your project, delivered.
Structured from day one.
I take end-to-end responsibility for your project, bringing structure, clear governance and proactive management so your organisation stays in control at every stage.
Delivery runs in phases. Each phase has its own plan and closes with a formal go or no-go, weighed against the business case, the plan and the risks as they stand at that moment.
Phases run left to right. The mark between two phases is the go or no-go moment, nothing starts before it is given. You are never locked in, at every gate your project board can continue, adjust the plan, or stop.
What I do
Four ways I work
with organisations
Every project situation is different. I step in at the point where it matters most, whether that is the start, the middle, or the moment things go wrong.
01
Start-up
Starting a new project
I set up your project with a clear mandate, agreed roles and a stage plan, so the first phase runs on solid ground and nothing is assumed.
02
Delivery
Running a live project
I step in as external project manager, handling progress, risks, stakeholder reporting and quality, while your team focuses on execution.
03
Capability
Building your team’s capability
I help your organisation adopt structured project management, coaching project leads and establishing templates and governance that last.
04
Recovery
Rescuing a troubled project
When delivery goes off track, I provide an independent assessment and a concrete recovery plan, factual, objective and actionable.
My approach
How I work
I apply PRINCE2 principles as my day-to-day working method, not as a rigid checklist, but as a structured foundation that I adapt to your organisation, your team and the nature of the project.
1
Establish a clear foundation
Before any work begins, I make sure there is a documented business case, agreed scope and defined success criteria. This is what keeps the project honest throughout its entire lifecycle.
2
Define roles, no ambiguity and no gaps
I map out who decides, who delivers and who carries accountability. Clear governance eliminates friction and ensures the right decisions are made at the right level.
3
Deliver in controlled stages
I structure delivery in stages, each with its own plan, milestones and a formal go or no-go moment. Your project board maintains full control without being drawn into day-to-day operations.
4
Manage risks before they become issues
I maintain a live risk and issue register throughout the project. Risks are flagged early, assessed for impact and addressed before they become blockers or surprises.
5
Close with accepted, documented outcomes
Every stage and every project closes with a clear, accepted deliverable that meets the quality criteria agreed at the start. No loose ends and no assumed completions.
Each stage has its own plan, its own milestones and a formal go or no-go moment. Your project board keeps full control without being drawn into day-to-day operations.

Deliverables
What you receive
Depending on the project scope and phase, I provide a combination of the following, always tailored to what your project and organisation actually need.
Initiation
Project Initiation Document. Business case, scope, roles, success criteria and stage plan in one structured document.
Planning
Stage plans and milestone overview. A realistic, layered plan that gives your board the right visibility at the right level of detail.
Control
Risk and issue register. A living register, actively maintained, not a document that sits on a shelf.
Reporting
Progress reports. Regular, clear updates that tell stakeholders exactly where the project stands and what is coming.
Governance
Change control log. Every scope change assessed and formally approved, so nothing drifts in silently.
Closure
End-stage and closure reports. Formal project closure with lessons learned, handover documentation and final acceptance.
