Nature of the services
Royaal Project provides independent advisory services in compliance, sustainability, contract management, governance and ISO management systems. The advice given is professional advisory work, not legal advice from a regulated lawyer, not an audit opinion, and not certification. Certification is issued by an accredited certification body; assurance opinions are issued by a statutory auditor. Where such a party is needed, I say so and work alongside them rather than in place of them.
Terms of business
Engagements are performed under a written assignment confirmation and under the general terms and conditions, which are provided to the client before or at the time the agreement is concluded. Fees are agreed as a fixed price per phase and confirmed in writing before work starts. Third-party costs, such as certification body fees, standards or tooling licences, are invoiced to the client directly by the supplier and are not marked up. The payment term is 14 days from the invoice date.
Liability
Advisory work is carried out with due professional care. Royaal Project holds professional indemnity insurance. Liability is limited as set out in Article 13 of the general terms and conditions: to the amount paid out under that insurance and, if no payment is made, to the fee charged for the phase in which the failure occurred. These limits do not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness.
Confidentiality
Client information is treated as confidential. Client names are not published on this website and case material is only described in anonymised form unless the client has given written permission. A non-disclosure agreement can be signed before any substantive conversation.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with the work delivered, send a written complaint to info@royaalproject.nl describing the issue and what outcome you are looking for. Receipt is acknowledged within 24 to 72 hours, together with a proposed route to a resolution. If we cannot resolve it together, the dispute is handled as set out below.
Intellectual property
The content of this website, including texts, structure and images, is protected by copyright. Deliverables produced during an engagement are licensed to the client for use within its own organisation. Underlying methods, templates and models remain the property of Royaal Project unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to all engagements and to the use of this website. Disputes are submitted to the District Court of Gelderland, location Arnhem, the Netherlands, unless the parties agree in writing to mediation first.
