Approach & pricing
A fixed price per phase.
You decide after every phase.
Advisory work goes wrong when nobody knows where it ends. So I do not sell hours and I do not ask for a retainer. Every engagement is cut into phases with a fixed price, a defined deliverable and a decision point at the end. If the first phase shows that the next one is unnecessary, we stop there.
How an engagement runs
Phase 1
Scan
A short, fixed-price assessment. What applies to you, what is already in place, what is missing, and what the shortest credible route is. You end up with a prioritised gap list you can act on yourself.
Phase 2
Design
The system itself: policies, processes, registers, roles and reporting, built to fit how your organisation already works. Documented once, owned by named people, not by a consultant.
Phase 3
Prove
Internal audit, management review, certification audit support or assurance readiness. The point where the system stops being a folder and starts being evidence.
Optional
Keep it running
A light annual cycle: audit programme, management review, regulatory watch and updates. Only if you want it, and never as a condition for the earlier phases.
How pricing works
- Fixed price per phase. You know the price and the deliverable before the phase starts. If the scope changes, we agree the change before the work happens, not on the invoice.
- Modular scope. Every proposal is built as a base plus optional modules you can switch on or off. You are never paying for a package to get the one part you need.
- Third-party costs run directly through you. Certification bodies, standards, tooling and lab or verification fees are invoiced to you by the supplier. I do not mark them up.
- No retainer, no lock-in. There is no minimum term and no monthly fee unless you specifically want ongoing support.
- Payment in 14 days. Invoicing is per completed phase, with a payment term of 14 days. The full terms are set out in the general terms and conditions.
- One adviser. You work with me. There is no junior consultant learning your organisation at your expense.
Want to know what your situation would cost?
Thirty minutes is usually enough for me to name a phase, a deliverable and a price range. You are free to take that away and do it yourself.
